As part of the ongoing School Health Program, the AHANI team lead by Dr. Ruchi Vaidya carried out a Nutritional status assessment program in H.M. Patel School, Dharmaj in Gujarat. A total of 150 8th grade students were assessed for their anthropometry measurements, and their lifestyle habits in particular, their sleep, breakfast and screen time activities. A brainstorming session was performed among the school teachers to design the implementation process of AHANII school health program. An ice breaking session was also performed among the students where they were introduced to sustainable development goals and motivated to live a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
